A creativity explosion occurred after 11 years in the Corporate World for SIMS. To believe it all started with finding gorgeous coloured glass from the 1970's in her Mom's past craft box and the idea of making jewelry out of stained glass. Self taught soldering pendants and necklaces with glass is where it all began for SIMS Jewelry Co. formerly Glass Art by SIMS!
From necklaces as Christmas presents to friends, then compliments, custom orders, quickly flying off shelves in stores in Canada, and requests to be in more City’s by word of mouth, and invitations to show’s; including one of the Suite's in LA for Celebrities contacts.
It is said, once you discover what you are meant to do, a passion truly develops and you can barely think about anything else. And so this exciting desire, passion, and goal has been set by Jewelry Designer/Entrepreneur from Kelowna, B.C. Canada, Sarah Simpson Byrne nicknamed SIMS, is to hear the words… “Are YOU wearing a SIMS?”
Immediate popularity and custom orders were amazing for this bound to be entrepreneur. With a decade of assisting Business Owners as a Chartered Insurance Professional, along with a 6 year membership to an organization known to be Entrepreneurs in Action, The Junior Chamber International (JCI, Okanagan Chapter), among many great business social groups and networking.
This leap of faith and extreme change of careers for SIMS to pursue what she loves to do… she knows will be worth all of the hard work to continuously have SIMS noticed in new places.
